École Mother Teresa School is taking registrations Monday to Friday from 8-12 and 1- 4. The school is located at 121 Midlake BV, SE. It serves French Immersion, Kindergarten to Grade 5 students from communities south of Fish Creek, East to the Bow River, and West to the city limits which includes the communities of Bridlewood, Lake Chaparral, Chaparral Valley, Evergreen, Midnapore, Millrise, Shawnee, Shawnessy, Silverado, Somerset, Sundance and Walden. The program will expand to Grade 6 in 2011. We also have an English Kindergarten to Grade 6 program offered for those students living in Midnapore.
Children who join the French immersion Program are taught the same curriculum as our English students. Any child can join in Kindergarten or Grade 1. Parents do not have to speak French as the majority of our parents do not. They simply wish to provide the opportunity for their child to learn French. It just takes a little courage from both children and parents!
École Mother Teresa School is a vibrant school with many activities throughout the year such as Stone Soup, Carnaval and Winter Activities.
